This session will highlight the history of ongoing advocacy fighting for dignity and safety inside adult prisons and juvenile facilities. Presenters will share the history of their organizing, outline key partnerships, and discuss the findings and policy recommendations that emerged from a series of town halls. This session will also address the current conditions of sexual abuse within these institutions and the impact on incarcerated people.
