In this session, participants will learn about the importance of preventing adverse experiences from childhood and throughout life. Adverse experiences can become traumas, leading to toxic stress that can lead to chronic illness. Communicate actions that promote health and well-being that can be addressed from the earliest stages of life to prevent the escalation of both individual and collective stress. These strategies can be adapted for any population; Alianza is particularly focusing on rural communities.
