This session is part of the Prevention Track sponsored by the National Sexual Violence Resource Center.

Speakers: Lacye Day and Sydney Katayama, Arkansas Coalition Against Sexual Assault
The Arkansas Coalition Against Sexual Assault (ACASA) will share its resources and strategies for promoting childhood wellness and preventing community violence in unstable environments. This initiative, called “The Butterfly Effect,” aims to train both adults and children to create safe spaces and maintain a protective environment in which everyone can thrive. Drawing on resources provided by the CDC’s Rape Prevention Education (RPE) program, The Butterfly Effect equips participants with essential skills in conflict resolution, bystander intervention, and community building. We are eager to share our strategies with NSAC participants who are also exploring rape prevention education in challenging circumstances.
