Amelia Romo Olivas (she/her) is a Coahuiltecan Chicana and member of the Tap Pilam Coahuiltecan Nation (auteka paguame clan), an indigenous feminist mama, a cultural worker, organizer and practitioner of traditional healing ways from her ancestral homelands of Yanawana, currently also known as San Antonio, TX. Amelia works on TAASA’s Learning and Evaluation team on projects like the Collective Healing Initiative (CHI) and learning circles around community accountability. She is a co-founder of SanArte Healing & Cultura Clinic Collective, where her passion for community wellness, culturally-affirming healing spaces and justice for BIPOC folks everywhere come together.
