Dr. alix lutnick (she/they/y’all) is a community-based researcher, harm reductionist, and soul midwife. alix’s work is grounded in harm reduction, and they are passionate about creating spaces where people can show up fully and authentically. She orients towards facilitating and holding space for nuanced, complicated conversations. Dr. lutnick has authored and co-authored publications for numerous peer reviewed journals, including the Journal of Human Trafficking, Anti-Trafficking Review, Children and Youth Services Review, Journal of Social Work Practice in the Addictions, American Journal of Epidemiology, Reproductive Health Matters, and Sexually Transmitted Infections. She is the author of Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking: Beyond Victims and Villains (Columbia University Press, 2016). alix gives great thanks to their bright and benevolent ancestors, her beloved dead, and dedicates her work to them.
