Kim Gutierrez is the Anti-human trafficking services program director at Community Solutions. Kim joined Community Solutions in 2009 as relief staff at La Isla Pacifica, the confidential shelter for survivors of intimate partner abuse. Since 2009, Kim has worked as an advocate for survivors of intimate partner abuse, sexual assault, and human trafficking, as well as providing community education, outreach and prevention on these topics. In 2012, Kim began working directly with local youth and young adults at risk for or experiencing commercial sexual exploitation. Currently, Kim serves as Co-Chair for the Advocacy Services Committee of the South Bay Coalition to End Human Trafficking, and led the workgroup of advocacy service providers who created the Victim Needs Screening Tool which assesses to see if an individual may have experienced or might be experiencing intimate partner abuse, sexual assault, and/or human trafficking. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English.
