This session explores the therapeutic benefits of steaming as a tool for healing from sexual violence, integrating Native American traditional knowledge and practices. Steaming is believed to support physical wellness, emotional healing, and spiritual balance. By drawing upon traditional teachings about the sacredness of the body and the power of natural healing, this session will guide participants in reconnecting with their bodies, healing from trauma, and embracing self-care. Attendees will gain insight into how steaming, combined with cultural knowledge, can foster emotional and physical restoration, offering a holistic approach to recovery.
