Diversity efforts in anti-violence organizations and corporate America have resulted in far more people of color, LGBTQ+ folks, neuro-diverse individuals, etc., being hired.  However, when you look at individuals in senior leadership positions, especially the C-Suite level, it remains a homogenous group. This session will explore tangible methods for leadership development, including policies and practices that reduce the impact of implicit bias and anti-blackness for BIPOC nonprofit leaders. Participants will devise strategies and analyze various approaches to ensure equitable leadership development in this session. Senior or Executive-level leaders and staff members just starting are welcome. We will answer questions such as: What do you need to move to the next level in your career? Are you creating an environment where BIPOC leaders can grow?
