Brandy Williams, LMSW is the Director of Education at MOCSA, a rape crisis center that provides free education, prevention, advocacy and counseling to survivors and their families in the Kansas City Metropolitan area. Brandy has been in the field of sexual violence for over 20 years. Brandy is driven to provide awareness and prevent sexual violence and all forms of violence that negatively impacts marginalized people and their community. Brandy stays busy with obtaining her clinical licensure in social work, volunteering as a board member with the LGBTQ Mid-America Chamber of Commerce, which includes co-managing the Metzler Mentoring Program and as an Advisory Board Member for the Pride Charity Fund. Additionally, Brandy has begun mentoring young professionals of color. Brandy is a proud alumni of LEAP Cohort 8. Brandy enjoys spending down time with her partner, three teenagers and their three dog pack; as well as accumulating more and more plants!
